BREAD 
1 stick butter
5 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. milk

Melt 1 stick butter in loaf pan. Dump 2/3 of butter out and save to pour over bread before baking. Mix sugar, yeast and milk. Add enough self-rising flour to be sticky. Dump in loaf pan. Pour remaining butter on top. (Make a ditch in center of loaf to pour butter in.) Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

I had my doubts about this recipe, but it was fantastic! I used 2 cups of self-rising flour. The bread has a biscuit-like texture and was very tasty. It was a bit too greasy though. Next time I'm going to try half a stick of butter and see how that works.
