SKILLET HOFBRAU HASH 
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 med. apples, cored, pared, sliced
12 oz. smoked sausage links
16 oz. jar sauerkraut, drained
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 c. frozen loose packed hash brown potatoes
1/2 tsp. poppy seed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

In 12 inch skillet, melt butter. Add brown sugar. Stir in apples and onion. Cook uncovered until almost tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in frozen potatoes, sauerkraut, sausage links, and seasonings. Simmer, covered, about 8-10 minutes.
