BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. butter
1 (3 oz.) jar mushrooms, drained
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. flour
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
Noodles, cooked by pkg. directions (or Irish potatoes, baked)

Combine ground beef, onion and butter, and cook until meat is brown. Add mushrooms, pepper and flour. Cook on low heat about 5 minutes. Add chicken soup. Simmer about 10 minutes. Add sour cream and simmer about 5 minutes more. May be served over noodles or baked Irish potatoes with grated cheese on top.
