FRENCH BREAD SANDWICH 
1 round (24 oz.) loaf French bread
1/4 c. soft butter
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 med. onion
1 to 2 cloves garlic
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
Salt & pepper to taste

Cut off top from French bread and remove insides. Mix butter, mustard and spread on the inside of the loaf. Brown hamburger, garlic and onion. Drain. Add seasoning and spinach from which all the water has been squeezed. Add cubed cheese and the crumbs removed from the French bread. Mix and pack inside the loaf. Wrap in 2 layers of aluminum foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until hot.
