ADOBO PORK CHOPS | |
6 boneless pork loin chops 3/4-inch thick 2 tbsp. packed light brown sugar 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil 2 tbsp. low-sugar orange juice 2 tsp. dried cilantro 1 tbsp. red-wine vinegar 2 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. ground cumin 1/2 tsp. dried oregano 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 3 tsp. minced garlic Trim fat from chops. Place chops in a resealable bag, place bag in a shallow dish. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, oil, orange juice, cilantro, vinegar, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and garlic. Pour marinade over chops. Marinate in a ziploc bag for 2 hours in refrigerator, turning bag occasionally. Drain chops, discard marinade. Start grill. When grill is hot, place chops directly over heat. Grill about 12 minutes.
