RAISINETS AND QUAKER OATS
OATMEAL COOKIES
 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar (light brown)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 (7 oz.) pkg. Raisinets
1 c. Quaker (quick or old fashioned) oats, uncooked
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.

In a large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in Raisinets, oats and nuts.

Drop by slightly rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Allow to stand 2 minutes before from cookie sheets. Cool completely. Makes 2 dozen, 2 1/2 inch cookies.
