METHOD FOR FREEZING CUCUMBERS | |
BRINE: 2 c. sugar 1 3/4 c. white vinegar 1/4 c. pickling salt All can be doubled for more. Use 12 cucumbers more or less and peeled and sliced onions. Boil the brine and cool. When cool, pour over cucumber and onion slices. Let stand 6 hours then freeze. Serve as is or can add cream and dressing. |
