TOASTED PECANS 
1 stick butter
1/2 lb. pecan halves

In iron skillet melt butter on low heat. Add pecans and cook until warm and well coated with butter. Spread on large baking sheet and toast 10-15 minutes in 300-325 degree oven. Place on paper towels with newspaper underneath. While hot, salt, turn and salt again. When cooled store in airtight container. Will keep for several weeks.
