2 c. flour (plain)
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/4 c. or 1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 c. cocoa
2 whole eggs
1 1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/8 tsp. vanilla

Combine water, butter, Crisco and cocoa in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Put flour and sugar in mixer, then pour hot mixture over flour and sugar. Mix well. Add eggs, soda, cinnamon, buttermilk and vanilla. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees.

ICING FOR WET CHOCOLATE CAKE:

1 c. powdered sugar
1/8 c. milk
1/8 c. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 1/8 tsp. vanilla

Bring to a boil milk, cocoa and butter. Add to powdered sugar in mixer bowl. Add vanilla. Beat well and spread on cake.
