VEGETABLE SOUP 
2 onions
6 potatoes
10 pods okra (you can use frozen okra)
2 c. corn
2 c. sweet peas or lemon beans
2 qts. tomatoes (canned or fresh)

Chop vegetables. Mix together and add enough water to steam until they are tender, about 30 to 45 minutes. Then add tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes are done. Add a dash of sugar and salt.

This is good with some chopped beef, pork or chicken added.

To freeze, don't season if you are going to freeze. Let soup mixture cool, put in containers and freeze.
