2 2/3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. oil
1 c. water
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2/3 c. buttermilk


1/2 c. softened butter
1 box powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, room temp.
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

In large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar; set aside. Bring butter, oil and water to a boil in saucepan. Pour boiling mixture over flour and sugar mixture. Beat thoroughly. Then beat in eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, soda and buttermilk. Pour into a greased sheet pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees. While it is slightly warm, frost with cream cheese frosting listed below.

Blend butter and cream cheese. Add vanilla and powdered sugar and nuts. After frosted, cake can be frozen.

Serves 25.
