SWEET DOUGH PIE CRUST 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
6 c. flour
3 tsp. vanilla flavor
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk
5 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream shortening, eggs and sugar until mixture has turned very light yellow. Add milk and mix well. Add flour and baking powder along with vanilla and spices. Beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Cool in refrigerator; the colder the dough the easier it is to roll. Roll or pat dough into 9 inch pie plate. Add your favorite fruit filling strip top. Bake at 350 degrees until top is brown. Makes 5 or 6 pies or 2 pies and tea cakes with remainder of dough. Bake tea cakes until light brown.
