"COOL SPRING SALAD" 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored gelatin
1/2 c. warm water
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
2 c. baby marshmallows
1 (16 oz.) box cottage cheese, well drained
1 (8 oz.) box Cool Whip
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Combine gelatin, warm water and pineapple, boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and chill in refrigerator until partially set. Add marshmallows, cottage cheese and chopped nuts. Mix well, then add Cool Whip and mix again. Pour into salad bowl and chill until firm. Garnish top with maraschino cherries (optional). Refrigerate until ready to use.
