POTATIS KORV 
6 lbs. potatoes
1 med. onion
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 lbs. ground pork
1 lb. casings

Peel potatoes; grind with onion. Mix well with salt, pepper and meat. Run cold water through casings. Invert casings on faucet and water forces casing to turn. Stuff casing with the mixture. If you don't have a stuffer, use an angel food pan. Fasten casing on end of tube, hold while you push mixture through open tube.

Make rings about 16 inches long and tie them. Place in cold water until all rings are made. To cook, cover with cold water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook slowly for 1 hour. Prick with a needle to prevent ring from bursting. They freeze well in plastic bags.
