CORN-OAT BREAD 
2/3 c. cornmeal
1/3 c. oatmeal
1 c. flour (white or wheat, or half of each)
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 c. milk (or water)
1 egg

Mix dry ingredients in bowl. Add oil. Blend until ingredients are coated and crumbly. Add milk and egg, beaten together. Mix until dry ingredients are just blended. Pour into 8-inch square pan or individual loaf pans.

Bake in hot 400 degree oven for 25 minutes, or until done. Should be lightly browned and edges have pulled away from pan. You may vary by adding seasonings, such as chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, etc.
