BAKED CHICKEN STRIPS | |
7 or 8 deboned chicken breasts 2 c. fine bread crumbs 1 c. Parmesan cheese, canned 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. thyme 1 tbsp. basil 1 c. butter, melted Cut chicken into 1-1/2 inch strips. Combine dry ingredients. Dip chicken strips into butter and then coat in crumbs. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°F. Turn strips after 10 minutes. This is a super recipe for appetizers or perfect for a Tailgate Picnic. The thyme and basil can be adjusted to your family's liking. Can be reheated in the microwave. Variations: Try other spices such as lemon pepper or barbecue spice. Serves 8. |
