NUT CRUST: 1 c. ground nuts 3 tbsp. sugar Pinch salt 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg Butter a pie plate. Mix ingredients and spread over pie plate. FILLING: 1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin 3 eggs 3/4 c. white sugar 1 1/2 c. evaporated milk Blend ingredients well and pour into nut crust. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 25-30 minutes or until almost firm. |
