FOOLS' TOFFEE 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
36 saltine crackers
12 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. crushed walnuts

Spread a large cookie sheet with foil, spray with Pam. Place crackers close together to form bottom layer. In small saucepan, place butter and brown sugar, heat to boil 4 minutes. Spread evenly over crackers. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove, sprinkle with chocolate chips evenly over top. Wait a few minutes, then spread with spatula. Sprinkle with nuts. Cool in refrigerator. Break into pieces.

Fools toffee is a must have recipe. IT is a crowd pleaser and so easy to make. But hard to stop eating once you start. I think the trick is to cook the butter brown sugar mixture well so that it becomes toffee. I love this recipe.

Switch it up with a bag of half milk choc chips, half peanut butter chips. Definitely satisfies that peanut butter and chocolate craving.

My 88 year old great aunt makes this but i find that using waxed paper sprayed with Pam is a little easier for me than foil otherwise I would not change a thing.
