JACKIE'S POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 lg. eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time (and mix each time). Add half of flour, add half of cream. Mix well. Add remaining flour and cream. Add extracts. Mix.

Pour in a greased and floured 12-cup bundt pan and put in a cold oven. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes. Turn out on wire rack or serving plate to complete cooling.
