2 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. cornmeal or corn flour Boil water with salt in a medium saucepan. Take off the burner and add the cornmeal (flour). Mix with a fork until a paste forms. Let it cool. Start forming the sorullos, until you finish the mixture. Fry the "sorullos" in medium-high with vegetable oil in a frying pan, until they get yellow and crunchy. DIP: Mix mayonnaise and ketchup to taste. Add minced garlic or garlic salt, pepper to taste. Serve after you fry them. They make good appetizers. |
