1 lg. can pork & beans 8 slices bacon 1/2-3/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper 2-3 tbsp. mustard Drain excess juice from pork and beans. Place in saucepan on stove on medium heat. Fry bacon crisp. Let cool. Break into small pieces. Add to beans, add all other ingredients, cook uncovered, stirring occasionally until mixture has thicken. |
