 Mary says:
Just made this for dinner and it is awesome!! I didn't have time to marinate the chicken for 2 hours so I just cooked the chicken and then poured the sauce over it and added cooked broccoli. I think this is better than take out chinese!!!

Great recipe! I didn't marinate it at all either, and it didn't need it. Quick, easy, no mess, and best of all- my picky eater loved it!

I agree - better than take-out. I didn't have honey, so used maple syrup instead and it was delicious. Also, since I'm vegetarian, I stir fried with mixed veggies vs chicken.
Thanks for the easy recipe!

Wow, this recipe is REALLY yummy!!! I bought the stir fry in the frozen section and used up all the sauce packet a while back ago. Thanks to this recipe, I will never use those darn sauce packets ever again! Thank you! :)

Was very good but found the sauce a little too salty, maybe 1/4 cup of soya sauce was a little too much? Otherwise very very good!

I will give this five stars due to how good it turns out for how simple it is. Probably not the healthiest but worth the 20 mins of effort. I did not marinate and it tastes like a thicker beef and broccoli sauce.

This was awesome! Will not use store bought stir fry sauce again. I used low sodium soy sauce and 1/2 the honey.. it was perfect!

 Crystal (Maryland) says:
I did not have fresh garlic so I used 3 tbsp. of jarred minced and omitted the water and still found the sauce a little thin. The flavor component was perfect and a great base for anyone looking to adventure into Asian cooking. Best of luck!

It drives me nuts to read the comments, complaining of things needing to be tweaked. Come on people take some responsibility, every brand of soy sauce is different. So duh if you think its too salty, then add less automatically.

Fan Freaking Tastic tasting sauce. I had to double the recipe as we like extra sauce and I didn't have green onion so used regular onion and my family was super impressed. This recipe is a keeper for us.

This is absolutely phenomenal. I didn't prepare any of it until it was time to cook and it came out great. I doubled the recipe and used already minced garlic. Best I have ever made. I usually use packets but I have a new recipe. Going to use this all the time. Thank you!

Update: Soy Sauce substitution... Coconut Liquid Aminos" Company is Bragg. 1 teaspoon = 140 mg. sodium... 10 calories... This is a soy-free seasoning... you will not know the difference...

 Patricia (Massachusetts) replies:
Great tip Phyllis. I've seen the Bragg's product but wasn't sure about it.
Thanks for sharing, I'll pick some up next time I go grocery shopping.
