PITZELS 
12 eggs
1 tbsp. anise flavoring
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. butter, melted
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
4-5 c. flour
4 tsp. baking flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Beat eggs, sugar and shortening. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Add to egg mixture. Texture should be like pancakes. Pour onto hot pitzel griddle with a teaspoon cook until set and very lightly browned. Other flavors may be used like vanilla. Griddle may be greased with butter or Pam.
