DR. PEPPER BROWNIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. Dr. Pepper (no substitutes)
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon (opt.)
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla

Heat until melted the butter and Dr. Pepper. Do not boil. Mix dry ingredients. Combine buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients. Then add Dr. Pepper mixture.

Bake in greased 18"x12" pan for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°F.

Frosting:

1/2 cup butter
6 tablespoons Dr. Pepper
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 box (1 lb.) powdered sugar

Bring to boil butter, Dr. Pepper and cocoa. Add 1 box powdered sugar. Spread on warm cake and cut into squares when cool.

This is good, but it is extremely sweet. I even cut the sugar a bit. I am going to try to lower the sugar even more.
