Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. lemon juice 3 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 (2 1/2 or 3 lb.) chicken Combine water, catsup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, butter and seasoning in a saucepan; heat to boiling. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Place chicken in the crock pot and pour sauce over it. Cook slowly overnight or on high for 6 to 7 hours. This barbecue sauce can also be used with pork and beef. |
