VELVEETA SALSA DIP 
1 lb. Velveeta process or light cheese spread, cubed
1 (8 oz.) jar Pace picante sauce
2 tbsp. chopped cilantro (optional)

Microwave Velveeta process cheese spread and Pace picante sauce in 1 1/2 quart microwave-safe bowl on high 5 minutes or until Velveeta process cheese spread is melted, stirring after 3 minutes. Stir in cilantro.

Serve hot with tortilla chips or broiled green, red, and yellow pepper wedges. Makes 3 cups.

VARIATIONS:

Prepare Velveeta Salsa Dip as directed, adding 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans.

Prepare Velveeta Salsa Dip as directed, adding 1/2 pound chorizo or hot bulk pork sausage, cooked, drained.

For a quick and easy Taco Salad: Add 1 pound browned ground beef, drained, and 1 (15 oz.) can pinto or kidney beans, drained, to Velveeta Salsa Dip. Spoon over torn greens, tomato wedges and tortilla chips. Serve with guacamole and sour cream, if desired.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
