STEWED TURNIPS 
8 to 10 turnips
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tsp. garlic
1 tsp. parsley
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp. butter

Boil peeled and cubed turnips until tender. Saute onions in butter until clear. Add garlic, parsley and drained turnips. Cook until soft.
