COLONIAL BROWN BREAD 
4 c. buttermilk
4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/3 c. all purpose flour
2 c. brown sugar, packed
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 (9"x5"x3") pans. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Pour batter into pans. Bake 1 hour. Serve bread warm or cold. Bread may be reheated; store leftover bread in the refrigerator. Is delicious served with flavored cream cheese.
