TAMALE PIE 
1 lb. ground beef, sausage, chicken or turkey
1 pkg. Chili-O mix
1 sm. can Mexicorn
3/4-1 c. corn meal, unseasoned
1 c. water
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 1/4 c. water

Brown meat and drain well. Add Chili-O mix, tomato sauce, corn with juice and 1 1/4 cups water. Stir well. Simmer covered 10 minutes.

Transfer into 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle corn meal over meat, try to get an even coating approximately 1/2 inch thick on top of meat. Slowly and carefully add 1 cup water over meal. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
