2 c. canned pumpkin
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 c. milk
3/4 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. rum
1 unbaked 9" pie shell

This pumpkin pie mixture is made in a blender. Put pumpkin, sugar, spices, salt and eggs in blender. Blend 40 seconds. Add milk, cream and rum. Blend 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour into pie shell. Bake in hot oven, 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees, continue baking 35 minutes or until a knife comes out clean when placed in the center of the pie.
