1 cake yeast
1 c. milk, warmed
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. warm water
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
4 1/2 c. flour

Soften yeast in the warm water; add milk, butter, sugar, eggs and salt. Stir in 2 1/2 cups flour and beat until smooth. Stir in remaining flour, then turn out on floured surface and knead 8-10 times.

Place in a greased bowl and let rise until doubled in size. Punch down, then form into balls 1 1/2 inches in diameter, place on greased baking pan and let rise again. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
