HOLUBCHI (CABBAGE ROLLS) 
1 head cabbage
3 tbsp. Canola oil
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce, diluted with water
Pepper
1 sm. onion
1 lb. hamburger
1 c. rice
Bacon, cut in little pieces

Take head of cabbage, cut out core from center. Place cabbage head in pan of boiling water. Cover and remove after a few minutes. Remove soften leaf and cut hard part so as to make it easier to roll together. Line roaster with cabbage leaves or foil.

Wash rice, place in 2 quart container half filled with water and cook 3 minutes. Stir constantly until cooked (instant rice may be used). Strain, in cold water. Place dish where it can be mixed easily. Place oil in pan, add chopped onion and hamburger. Simmer until onion is transparent. Drain. Add to rice, season and mix well.
