MAPLE NUT ICE CREAM 
2 c. skim milk
1/2 c. corn oil
16 drops butter flavoring
1 env. or 1 tbsp. unflavored gelatin
1/2 c. water
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. sugar or sugar substitute equivalent to 1 c. sugar or 1/2 c. sugar & sugar substitute equivalent to 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Put milk, oil and butter flavoring in blender; blend at top speed for 2 minutes. Add gelatin and water together in pan and heat to dissolve. Add all ingredients except nuts to the milk; stir well. Put into electric freezer and mix until almost firm, using instructions for your freezer. Add nuts; continue to freeze until very hard. Freeze unused or not eaten ice cream in freezer containers. Remove ice cream from freezer 15 minutes before serving.
