3 1/2 lbs. beef chuck
3 tbsp. oil
1/4 to 1/2 c. chili powder
3 chopped onions
4 garlic cloves
2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes with liquid, mashed
1 (4 oz.) can chopped jalapeno peppers
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. oregano
3 bay leaves
1 tbsp. each: salt, ground cumin, red wine vinegar
2 (2 1/4 oz.) cans sliced green olives, drained
1 tbsp. masa harina
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Sour cream

Saute beef in oil. Remove from pan. Sprinkle cooked beef with chili powder. Cook onions and crushed garlic. Add cooked beef and all other ingredients except olives, masa harina, Cheddar cheese and sour cream. Cook 1 1/2 hours on medium low. Remove bay leaves. Stir in olives and masa harina. Serve and top with Cheddar cheese and sour cream.
