3 eggs
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. broad noodles, cooked
1/2 c. seedless raisins
1/2 c. blanched almonds, sliced
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 tbsp. butter, butter or chicken fat, melted
2 tbsp. bread crumbs

Beat eggs and brown sugar until fluffy. Add nutmeg, noodles, raisins, almonds, lemon juice and melted butter. Put into a well greased 2 quart rectangular shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake in 375 degree oven for 50 minutes until browned. (This kugel can be served as dessert with a sweet fruit sauce.) Serves 8.
