1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 1/3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup cooked pitted chopped prunes

In a mixing bowl cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Sift together flour, allspice, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cloves.

Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix just until blended. Combine lemon juice with prunes; add to batter. Turn into buttered 9x5x3" loaf pan.

In a preheated 350°F oven bake 50-60 minutes. Turn out of pan onto wire rack to cool.
