1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. brown sugar
Approx. 2 1/2 lb. slab of regular spare ribs (not country style)

Mix ingredients (except meat) in a bowl. (Keep spare ribs in a long strip. Do not cut until specified time according to recipe.)

Place meat in shallow pan. Pour the mixed sauce over the meat and turn meat several times to saturate it. Let it stand to marinate for an hour on each side. Cover the pan with aluminum foil until airtight.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Remove from oven and cut into separate ribs, then place on a flat pan or cookie sheet. Place under boiler for about 5 minutes on each side or until brown. Serve piping hot with Polynesian sweet and sour sauce or plain as desired.
