Put berries in pot and cover them with water. Let them come to a good boil for about 5 minutes or until they start to pop open. Mash the berries up and strain them through cheese cloth.
Put pulp back into another pot and cover with water and boil them again. Strain again. Add the juice from the first pot and this pot together.
Measure: 5 1/2 c. sugar 1 pkg. fruit pectin
Cook this for 5 minutes at a hard boil. With a large spoon skim off top. Put into sterilized jelly jars and seal with paraffin or lids.
