CHRISTMAS JEWEL SALAD 
2 sm. or 1 (6 oz.) pkg. lime Jello
1 tsp. gelatin
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
6 oz. mayonnaise
Sm. can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. Maraschino cherries, chopped
1/2 c. pecans

Mix Jello with 2 cups of boiling water. In separate bowl mix gelatin with about 2 tablespoons cold water. Add 1 2/3 cups cold water to the lime Jello. Mix the Jello and gelatin together. You can pour a little of the hot Jello mixture into the gelatin to make it mix better. Let this mixture slightly chill.

Mix cream cheese and mayonnaise together making sure it is creamed well. Add can of pineapple to this and also the 1/2 cup cherries (cut up in about 4 pieces). Add pecans and by then your Jello should be ready to mix with these last ingredients.

You can decorate the top with cherries and nuts, if desired.
