TURKEY SALISBURY STEAK | |
1 lb. ground turkey 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1/4 c. chopped parsley 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper 1 egg 3 tbsp. flour, divided 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. oil 1/2 c. white wine 1/2-3/4 c. chicken broth Combine first 7 ingredients in mixing bowl. Shape into 4 patties. Dip each into 2 tablespoons of flour; saute over medium heat approximately 10-12 minutes. Remove to warm platter. Pour off all but 1 tablespoon drippings from pan and stir in 1 tablespoon flour. Cook 1 minute over medium heat. Stir in wine and broth and cook for about 3 minutes until lightly thickened and bubbly. Serve patties with sauce spooned over top. These are a delicious alternative to beef - my whole family loves them! Serves 4. |
