MRS. HARVEY'S WHITE FRUITCAKE 
5 lg. eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 lb. candy cherries
1 lb. candy pineapple
4 c. shelled pecans
1/2 oz. vanilla flavoring
1/2 oz. lemon flavoring

Chop nuts and fruit into pieces; dredge with small amount of flour. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add well beaten eggs and blend well. Sift remaining flour and baking powder together. Fold into egg and batter mixture. Add vanilla and lemon; mix well. Add fruit and nut mixture, blending well.

Grease 10 inch tube pan, line bottom and sides with heavy brown paper; grease again. Pour batter into greased pan. Place in cold oven and bake at 350 degrees for 3 hours. Cool on rack in pan. Makes 5 pounds.

This is the best fruit cake on the market. The recipe is not hard to make and the outcome can't be beat by any other fruitcake as far as I am concerned. My mother made this fruitcake when I was a child so I have been around a long time. Keep it on the Internet. Best out there.
