LASAGNA II 
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp. parsley, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork sausage
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
3/4 c. water
6 lasagna noodles
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. olive oil
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
Grated Parmesan cheese
1 pt. Ricotta cheese

In 2 tablespoons olive oil saute onion and parsley. Add meat and cook until brown. Add sugar, garlic powder, oregano, basil, thyme, pepper, tomato sauce, paste and water. Simmer for 3 hours. Stir often. Boil noodles in large kettle with salt and olive oil. Drain. In 13"x9"x2" dish, place sauce, the Ricotta then Mozzarella, Parmesan and noodles. Repeat. End with sauce and grated Parmesan and Mozzarella. (No Ricotta on top.) Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.
