STEWED PRUNES 
1 lb. pitted prunes
1/2 c. orange juice
Touch of cinnamon & sugar

Let prunes soak in water 24 hours in refrigerator. Then add your orange juice and cinnamon and sugar. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.

Came out pretty good. The water threw me. Enough to cover or...? It would help me to know so the prunes will come out as they should since this is my first attempt and i have no point of reference. Thanks for the recipe. A friend recovering from surgery asked that i make her stewed prunes and this was easy and a great help.
