2 c. white sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. cocoa (Hershey's) 4 tbsp. flour 1/4 c. butter 1 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla (added later)
In a saucepan - mix dry ingredients. Add butter and water. Bring to a boil, and continue boiling for 10 minutes, or slightly longer. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Serve over ice cream.
i make homemade desserts every night-- this is the best dessert with coffee ice cream and whipped cream. unbelievable sauce so different than the ones made with choc chips and a totally different food group than the ones you buy in the store.

This is the best recipe for hot fudge sauce! Loved it! I only boil it for a few minutes then turn it down to low for about 5 minutes while constantly stirring otherwise it burns!

This to my surprise was quite easy to make and so delicious! I had tried a different recipe and it hadn't turned out so well. But I followed this recipe exactly and it was fantastic! Definitely going to use this recipe again! Thanks so much!
