1/4 c. salad oil 1 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. wine vinegar 2 tsp. parsley, minced 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt 1/4 tsp. oregano leaves 1/8 tsp. seasoned pepper 1/2 lg. head Iceberg lettuce 1/4 lg. head Boston lettuce 2 lg. avocados, peeled & sliced 1/2 c. California walnuts 1 c. sliced strawberries To make the dressing, mix thoroughly the first 8 ingredients in a small bowl. Into a large bowl, tear Iceberg and Boston lettuce into bite-size pieces. Add avocados and strawberries. Immediately before serving, stir dressing and pour over salad, without tossing. Add walnuts for garnish. (Makes about 8 servings.) |
