Nice recipe, I changed it by dripping some melted shortening over the drumsticks - made them soooo crispy.

 Debbie (British Columbia) says:
The only good thing about this recipe was the chicken itself, everybody had to peel the coating off the chicken as it tasted exactly as if you had a mouthful of flour.... was not at all crispy, cooking it any longer would have dried out the chicken. Sorry I could not be positive about this recipe, everyone was really looking forward to trying this... sorry it was just really bad.

 Wanda (Florida) replies:
It sounds like your oven is not heating to the 425°F the recipe calls for or the flour would have been cooked. Suggest buying a thermometer and checking your oven.

This chicken was excellent, I added chipotle pepper flakes to the mix. It was crispy and moist. Recommended

Not sure about the butter but I'm using the spices and marinating it in soy sauce

The recipe was really good a little plain but good. My bf really liked it but the second time I made I add a little more to it. I added a tsp of all the spices. And I added a tsp of onion powder, chili powder, 1/2 tsp of pepper and 1/4 cup of Parmesan. And it tasted delicious!
