1/2 onion, chopped 1 bunch green onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 6 jalapeno chilies, minced 1 tbsp. garlic, minced 2 tomatoes, diced 8 oz. bottle zesty Italian dressing 1/3 bunch cilantro, chopped 1 can Hominy, drained 2 cans black eyed peas, drained Combined all ingredients and refrigerate 2 hours. Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips. | |

I have had numerous requests for this at cookouts and family gatherings for many years. The recipe I have, which I received from a friend is almost the same as this one except that it also calls for a can of corn and fewer jalapenos. It HAS to be served with either Frito or Tostitos Scoops!
