This is very close to the recipe I've been looking for, so I will add the melted milk or semi sweet chocolate, the peanut butter and confectioners' sugar. All I remember when I did have this it had a lot in it. Off to the grocery store.... Thank you for this recipe.

I think you are thinking of Dog Chow or People Chow....this doesn't have peanut butter! Trying this tonite! Can't wait! Had something similar with Honeycomb and Rice chex...we'll see how this turns out!

@Gloria, sounds like you're thinking of Chex Muddie Buddies. Used to make them as a kid. Chocolate, peanut butter, conf. sugar, etc.

Love this! I've also added dried cranberries and dried pineapple pieces for a little extra taste and color.

This is also very good with 2 cups of plain m&m's.

I always add M&M's and lots of different salted nuts..Wonderful tasty treat..

Absolutely awesome! My sister makes me 2 gallon bags of this every year for Christmas. We freeze part of it -- otherwise our grown kids would eat the whole thing when they come over! I think it would be good with dried cranberries as someone else suggested.
