PEPPERMINT CANDY ICE - CREAM PIE 
1 1/2 c. chocolate wafer crumbs
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 pt. peppermint ice cream
1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, partially thawed
3 tsp. finely crushed peppermint candy (additional peppermint candy for garnish,
optional)

Combine crumbs and melted butter; press firmly into a 9 inch pie plate. Combine peppermint ice cream and whipped topping; spoon into crumb crust. Sprinkle with peppermint candy; freeze until firm. Garnish with peppermint candy, if desired. Yield: One 9 inch pie.
