SALEM COLLEGE ICE TEA | |
4 sprigs fresh mint 8 to 12 whole cloves 3 qts. water 1 oz. tea Juice of 8 lemons Juice of 6 oranges 1 can (46 oz.) pineapple juice 2 c. sugar Add mint and cloves to water; bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Add tea and allow to steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Strain and while still hot, add fruit juices and sugar. Stir to dissolve sugar. Makes 4 1/2 quarts. The best iced tea in the world. |
